It was a cold bright December night.
God choose to give us his delight.
It was a cold bright December night.
When Jesus was born and the stars danced with delight.
The Shepard’s gathered their sheep and fell on there knees.
The sheep bowed down to give praise to the king of kings.
Joseph and Mary were blessed that cold December night.
For the son that was not theirs had come at last.
Kings traveled from far away lands.
To bring gifts on this long awaited night.
Kings followed the North Star shinning ever bright.
To praise the King of Kings that cold December night.
The heavens opened that night; it was bright with eternal light.
The heavens shouted praises to Jesus Christ the King.
The angels guarded Gods son, as they gave praise to his Holy name.
Christmas has begun; God was well pleased with his Son.
How sad to know that we care so little for our Lord and Savior.
He came and no one even saw who he was in his own town.
He gave us light and we saw darkness.
He gave us love and we found hatefulness.
He came so we might live and we sought to kill Him.
He cried for our sins and we mocked him.
His love gave us all and we rejected everything he gave.
Still he asked God to forgive for we knew not what we do.
The temples shook and the clouds covered the sun.
We feared for what we had done.
We knew not that we had killed Gods SON.
The dark angel laughed in delight as our souls we're his.
Still Jesus loved and died so we would know that HE still lives.
Gods love is far greater than the dark angels sin.
As I sit on my swing on this predawn morn and watch the skies.
Turn from one color to the next I get down on my knees.
And I find myself asking God please "will you come and play today"?
After being in a wheelchair for over 8 weeks and now I can walk again..
I think of the time when no one came to help me through, but you Lord..
So I ask again will you come and play today.
Maybe you are too busy and I most certainly understand.
So maybe you could send an angel to lead a helping hand.
I see the person next door to me who can not drive.
Maybe we can go offer her a way to the store to get food once more.
I see someone who can not get out of bed, perhaps a meal is called for.
So I ask once more God can you come and play today there’s work to be done.
There’s dust three inches deep in my own house Lord, but I find I don’t care.
I’ve sat a long time and now it’s time to help the ones who still can not help themselves.
So I ask you Lord will an angel descend from above to help with this labor of love.
You’ve done so much for me Lord, the blessing you have given me our too numerous to count.
It is time now Lord for me to try and repay what I own on this day that you have made.
So Lord once more on bended knee I come to Thee and ask you please will you come and play today.
The birds are singing your praises once more as I sit quietly on my knees and tell you Lord I love thee.
For I feel the presents of your grace and love and you fill my soul with peace on this pre dawn morn.
Will you come and sit for a spell on my swing today as I look for your will on this day you made.
Standing on the sand, lost and alone.
Our hearts bruised and battered.
Like an angry sea pounding on the shore.
We knelt by the ocean floor.
What we found was your saving grace of three:
Your love, your son, your Holy Spirit, three in one.
Is what you offered.
In Gods saving grace of three.
We stood as an empty shell.
You reclaimed our souls.
You set us free.
You lifted our spirit once more.
What we found was your saving grace of three:
Your love, your son, your Holy Spirit, three in one.
Is what you offered.
In Gods saving grace of three.
As we stood looking out on that blustery day.
The sun peeked out through the dark clouds.
As the peace in our hearts return.
Our burden was removed and set free..
What we found was your saving grace of three:
Your love, your son, your Holy Spirit, three in one.
Is what you offered.
In God’s saving grace of three.
Have you ever wonder where miracles come from?
Have you ever seen a miracle for yourself?
Do they come within our soul or just generations ago?
Where does a miracle come?
Have you ever been in a crowd of strangers and felt you were not alone?
Have you ever been down that you felt there was no place left to go?
Have you ever felt that you had no friends on which you could not rely on?
Where does a miracle come?
They are in the sky above the clouds that pass us by.
They are on the ground, but our eyes don’t realize.
They touch us daily, but we do not see.
Where does a miracle come?
There in all that we are and all that will be.
They are within the hearts and soul of you and me.
All that is here is a miracle that has been.
Where does a miracle come?
In the sound of your first child’s cry.
In the sounds of the birds as they soar through the sky.
In the soft breeze of angels wings as we are never alone.
Where does a miracle come?
In the many talents that are in our souls.
In the soft laughter and tears that flow.
In the friendships that have come our way.
Where does a miracle come?
Within our families circle that continues to grow.
Throughout generations to come and from years ago.
Love abounds and continues to grow.
Where does a miracle come?
As I drive my truck each day I wonder what it is I will see today?
Each day brings something new for my eyes and ears
From state to state, from coast to coast what new things will I see this day?
The sunrises from my front window to my back from day to day
The colors are different each and every day from that sunrise
The scenery is never the same even though I’ve been here dozens of time
Where does my inspiration lie?
Some people have to get up to go to work and it is the same old thing day after day
But here in my old truck things are not that way.
I look forward to the days drive and the sites I’ll see and just what’s ahead of me
I have been very lucky to be able to travel and see this most beautiful land
The seasons change and I drive from season to season for just that reason
The seasons are never quite the same the colors are very bright with the changes
Where does my inspiration lie?
The people I meet, the things I’ve seen God you have blest me through my travels
Snow on the mountain peaks, creeks where fish are seen, great rivers miles long
Mother bears teaching her young to fish, deer’s, antelopes, long horned mountain goats
Flowers in a field of gold, windmills that you make go fast in the breath of your wind
Craters that have fallen from the sky large enough to make a hugh bright blue lake
Cactus that bloom in the hot desert sun, sand storms that scared us to death
Where does my inspiration lie?
My inspiration lies in you God where all that is, you have made each and every day
My inspiration lies in you my Lord for what I’ve seen you have made
My inspiration lies in your grace and beauty your love and mercy that you give me
My inspiration lies in the songs I hear from the morning dove that coos by my window
My inspiration lies in the evening skies as it bids us good night with the colors so bright
My inspiration lies in your son God who came here so we would be able to see your face
Where does my inspiration lie?
Lord, I heard you call me today as your breath moved the leaves.
Lord, I heard you whisper my name Lord on the soft gentle breeze.
Lord, I feel your presence here today as I tend to your needs.
Lord, I fell on my knees as I gave praise to thy name.
Lord, as I heard the songbird praising on the limb of a tree.
Lord, a dove soared high above me as I continued to pray.
Lord, I asked what you want of me on this day you made.
Lord, it was your blessings that you gave me this day.
Lord, your love is boundless as you surround us as we pray.
Lord, I feel your presence on this day you have made.
I was born in a womb with no soul, but God was there.
I had a mother who cared not, but God was there.
My mother wanted me dead, but God was there.
She messed up my mind, but God was there.
She never heard the tears that I cried, but God was there.
She gave me away, but God was there.
She took me back, but didn’t care, but God was there.
She gave me nothing to live for, but God was there.
My body was there, my mind was not, but God was there.
I was left with no memory of that time, but God was there.
He showed me pieces at a time, as I started to come back, but God was there.
He held me in his arms and dried my tears as my memory came back, but God was there.
He gave me hope, instead of despair, but God was there.
He sheltered me from my mother’s anger, but God was there.
His love for me was greater than the brightest sun above, because God was there, and he loved me before I was born.
Angel’s tears flood the skies, as they watch us from above.
Their tears have flowed throughout generations of the years.
They cry for those who are lost, and can not find their way.
Their cries of joy, for those of us who have been saved.
For our names are engraved and can not be erased.
From Heaven’s gate these Angel’s wait, their claps of thunder when we come.
Their lightning hits the sky, as they celebrate our heavenly reunion.
Their tears are made of love and sorrow, as they watch us from above.
The stars light our nights, as the Angel’s give praise to God’s, power and might.
God’s amazing grace is in the tears that flow, as the Angel’s cry from the sky.
Their tears make the flowers grow in May, as the blooms give praise for the rain.
Their tears make the rivers flow, the soft green grass that grows, and the cover of the trees.
They give life to this place we call earth, but our home is not here to be.
For the Angel’s tears are soon to call us home, to see loved ones once more.
God’s spirit is in each tear that falls from Heaven, as he opens the gate as we enter in.
As He waits for our time on earth, is a short time and his love is forever in our souls.
Yes the Angles tears flood the sky, as they watch us from above.
God and his Angel’s tears are mingled, with joy and sorrow as they watch us from above.
Yes the Angel’s tears flow with grace and love, as they watch us from above.
