Life is Like...
I find our life to be like traffic.
It rushes by without stopping.
At times it seems like we are at a standstill.
It pauses…then it speeds back up.
There are twist and turns around each bend.
There are moments in time that take us by surprise.
These are the times that take our breath away.
That causes are hearts to beat out of our chest.
Sometimes it passes like a soft sigh.
Sometimes like a raging river.
Such is the passing of time.
Like the second hand of an old clock.
Things happen to us that have no rhyme or reason.
We can not explain the things that happen.
Like the ups and downs of our daily life.
Gone like the blink of an eye.
